Welcome to the SUPA website! Ultimate is alive and well in Shanghai and all the information you need to get involved is here. SUPA events include an annual tournament, spring and fall leagues, and pick-up almost every week in-between.
SUPA is happy to announce the 2008 Shanghai Tournament: EMPEROR OVERTHROWN. The dates are set
for June 21-22, 2008. We can host a maximum of 20 teams and bids will be approved on
a first come, first serve basis. Please email our tournament directors at
tourney@shanghai-ultimate.com with your team bid
(Team Name, City, Roster [with nicknames]). If you do not have a team, but would still like to play in the
tournament, we will do our best to find a team for you.
We understand that there is a lot of information that we have left out. Please check back on the website often for updates. We will also be sending updates to the Asian Ultimate listserve, so you can direct inquiries to your team captain.

Tournament Fee:
500 RMB (Approx. 70 USD) Yes, currency revaluation is a bitch. The US dollar sucks, so if you are still getting paid in USD we will have a special therapy session for you at the Friday night party...
China Entry Visas:
Make sure you get your visas early. Given the way the US is treating Chinese visa applicants, some Chinese Embassies and Consulates are being a little more strict with Americans than before. Contact your local Chinese Embassy or Consulate for details. Or call us if you're really stumped.

Pools:
Pools were determined largely on your standing at the end of the last Shanghai tournament. Due to pool size in the top division (5 teams) there will no crossover game on Saturday. Your Saturday record will determine your seeding for the Sunday tournament, with seeds 1,3,5,7 and 9 available to Pool A and 2,4,6,8,10 available to Pool B. Seeds for teams with tied records on Saturday will be determined by head-to-head results.
