1. Wednesday Plyos with the Ultimate Nadsplyos, short for "plyometrics". a routine we use to build explosive power
- to get that extra step ahead on your cut
- to keep between your mark and the disc on 'd'
- to beat the other guy to a stopped taxi on a rainy day
Wednesday at 7:30pm, Jing an Worker's Stadium.
If it's raining, look for a post to see if we're still on.
afterwards, join Mike Nads for an evening picnic at jing an temple, good japanese food on the cheap (20-25RMB)
2. Pick-up on Saturday, March 11th at SRFCPick-up will be held from 12:00-2:30 on Saturday, March 11th, at the SRFC in Jinqiao. We have half a field from 12:00-12:30 to stretch and run a few drills, then we will do some skills on the far field leading up to pick-up for the last 1-1.5 hours of our time there.
Please note: there will be a film crew from ABC Australia at the grounds
on Saturday afternoon filming for a program on expat life in China. Please bring either your blue and white HuWa jersey to play in, or a shirt from league in which our sponsors are displayed. Thanks!
3. March 13th - First Night of SPRING LEAGUEMonday night marks the beginning of what should prove to be an exciting Spring League, run by our very own SUPA-star, Hermine Wong. Come ready to play (and pay, if you haven't yet) with a pair of cleats and plenty of water. This year's league should prove to be the most competitive yet!
Note from League Commissioner Wong: 60 people are registered and 1 person is currently waitlisted. Here is what is going to happen to waitlisted players:
If you're on the waitlist, come to the first day of league. Those people who have registered but who have not paid by the first day of league will get bumped and the waitlist will come up. As long as the waitlisted player is willing to pay the 400rmb fee on that day, he/she will be placed on a team. If a waitlisted player comes on the first day of league and we cannot place him/her on a team, that person will be allowed to pickup with a team for the first day of league only and he/she will be charged 50rmb for the day. League will be open for this type of pickup for the first week only. After that, league will be closed for pickup.

5. Job OpportunitiesCelebrant at Roman Holiday Wedding Center
As you may well know, members of our community serve from time to time as "celebrants" at a local marriage parlour.
If you are interested in performing ceremonies on a sunday or two every month, please contact Jeff Jorve.
6. Spnsor LinksBig Bamboo
They are our major sponsor. Let's sponsor them. When you have that meeting or that new guy in town, take him there. And introduce him to Bryce, the owner. Good Times (with a capital T) will ensue. Nanyang Lu and Xikang Lu. Open all the time. Great food.
Sherpa's
Dial up Swill Turnover and order something from Sherpas. They dialed SUPA's number in a big way with a fat sponsorship. Let's return the favor.
Zentral
Make sure to head to Zentral for your after-pick-up meal... The nice people there will hand you an ice-cold Qingdao for ordering an entree.
